Self-Monitoring

Your Feedback

Thank you for completing this questionnaire!

Your answers were used to calculate your self-monitoring score, and this score was considered against a norm calculated from the responses of previous test-takers. The sample of previous respondents was 578 after several quality checks, including the removal of incomplete and repeated responses, sessions that were too short or too long and those exhibiting systematic response patterns.

Self-monitoring theory suggests that there are two characteristic interpersonal styles, one associated with low self-monitors, and one associated with high self-monitors. People whose scores are located towards the top of the norm group are likely to have a high self-monitoring personality, and people whose scores are located towards the bottom of the norm group are likely to have a low self-monitoring personality.
