Platform Terms & Conditions
This Agreement was last modified on March 4th, 2015.
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using tests.e-psychometrics.com ("the Platform") or any tests hosted on this Platform, which is operated by the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre ("us", "we", or "our"). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Platform or contributing content or other materials to the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Platform and its original content, features and functionality are owned by the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
We may terminate your access to the Platform, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
HOSTED THIRD-PARTY TESTS
The Platform enables third-party developers not affiliated to us to create their own tests and collect data through an admin panel. Third-party test developers control the content of their test. Their use of the Platform in no way implies that we endorse the brand, purpose, validity or any other aspects of the third-party developer or their tests.
By taking third-party tests, you may be granting those developers certain rights to your personal data and we strongly encourage you to read and understand the About pages of every test before answering any questions. You take full responsibility for your participation in third-party tests.
Regardless of any test-specific or developer-specific terms you may agree to, these Platform Terms & Conditions will govern your use of the Platform as a whole. This document shall therefore take precedence over all other terms for the purposes of interpreting the rights and obligations of the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre in its role as provider of the Platform service.
For your protection, we reserve the right to limit or terminate third party-developers’ access to the Platform where, in our sole discretion, their conduct does not comply with our legal, ethical and professional standards.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
Our Platform may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by us.
This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Platform or discontinue any use of the Platform immediately.
If you have any questions about this Agreement, please address them to email@example.com.
